Appendix A - Membership
As of November 2023, applications for membership in the KPASS High School organization are closed, with the exception of current KPASS Middle School members who are not yet High School members. This limitation is due to the restricted capacity of member schools to host interscholastic events, coupled with a full collaboration calendar. Applications for KPASS High School Membership may open if a current member school decides to leave the KPASS organization.
Procedures for New Applicants for
Membership in KPASS
Amendment to Article III: Membership
Secondary schools in the Kanto Plain may apply for membership if English is the principal language of instruction and the new member is willing to abide by the decisions of the collective membership. Any school desiring membership must meet the conditions as described in appendix IV-A, and submit a completed application (appendix IV-B) to the President or Secretary, who shall bring the application to the next regularly scheduled KPASS meeting. New membership requires a two-thirds approval vote of all current member schools. Review will take place at the September meeting each year and voted upon at the November meeting. If approved, the new member will be expected to attend the March and May meetings.
